How to play Doughnut Escape
Doughnut Escape is a free physics puzzle game you play in your browser. Batch #001 is headed for the oven, and it is your job to build them a way out. Place tools on the shelves, release the batch, and get enough doughnuts to the getaway van before the timer runs out.
How to play
- Pick a tool from the tray, then click a shelf to place it. On a touch screen, tap to preview and press Place here.
- Press Release batch and the doughnuts start walking. You can keep building while they walk.
- Each level tells you how many doughnuts to save. Save more for a higher score.
- Pink jam slows doughnuts, then turns them into crumbs, and long drops are fatal. Use a ladder for a safe descent, or a bouncer to cushion a landing.
The six tools
- Ramp: launches doughnuts across the jam. Flip it to change direction.
- Conveyor: a fast belt that carries doughnuts in its arrow direction.
- Ladder: connects shelves. It goes down by default; flip it to climb up.
- Fan: a gentle updraft that lifts doughnuts above it.
- Blocker: turns doughnuts around. Place one before a dangerous edge.
- Bouncer: a springy launch that also cushions a long landing.
Levels and hazards
There are 30 levels, from the Morning Bake to the King's Vault. Later levels add saws, jam that slows doughnuts down, hot ovens, crushers and oven patrols, and give you more tools to juggle.
Doughnut Town
Every doughnut you rescue moves into Doughnut Town. As your town grows, new shops open: the Glaze Café, Sprinkle Market, Jam Works, Clock Tower and Golden Bakery. Sign in and your town follows you onto every device.
