How to play Doughnut Run 2
Doughnut Run 2 is a free 3D game you play in your browser. Sprinkles takes Manhattan: he runs the real streets with the bakery van on his tail, then pulls on pink and gold flight armour and flies the skyline. It is a beta, built for computers.
Street Runner
- Change lane with the left and right arrow keys (or A and D), or swipe on a touch screen.
- Jump with up, W or Space. Slide with down or S.
- Near a junction, press left or right to turn onto the cross street. The turn prompt shows when you can.
- Sawhorses and steaming manholes can be jumped, scaffolding can be slid under, dumpsters and cars must be dodged, and hot dog carts roll into the next lane.
- You run faster the further you go. Grab sprinkles for points, and shields and magnets for help. If you stumble, the van closes in, and a second mistake catches you.
Sugarflight
- Press T at any time to switch between the streets and the sky, or pick Sugarflight on the start menu.
- A and D turn, W and S change speed, Space climbs, C dives, and Shift boosts.
- Fly through the ten gold gates in order. Each gate refills your boost.
- Follow the trail of sprinkles over the rooftops, and fly close to buildings for close-shave bonus points. Hitting a building costs armour, and if it runs out you restart from your last gate with a time penalty.
- The course is new every day and the same for every player that day.
Adverts
Signs along the streets and blimps in the sky show adverts from the Doughnut.com network. Tap or click one to see who it is. The game pauses while you look.
What your computer needs
Run 2 builds the whole of Manhattan in your browser, so it needs a computer with a recent Chrome, Edge or Safari that supports WebGPU. The first visit can take a minute or two to load. On an older machine, choose Performance in the Graphics menu. Phones are not supported yet, so on a phone try Doughnut Run instead.
