How to play Doughnut Sniper 2
Doughnut Sniper 2 is a free 3D ballistics game you play in your browser. Every round puts you on a new rooftop in a whole 3D city, with runaway doughnuts hovering between the towers. Read the wind, allow for the drop and splat them with sprinkle shots. Nobody gets hurt: the only targets are doughnuts.
How to play
- Computer: move the mouse (or use the arrow keys or WASD) to aim, and click or press F to fire. Right-click or Space opens the scope, the mouse wheel or Q and E zoom, and holding Shift holds your breath to steady the aim.
- Controller (PS5 or Xbox): the sticks aim, hold L2 for the scope, R2 or Cross fires, Square or L3 holds your breath, and L1 and R1 zoom.
- Phone or tablet: drag anywhere to aim, then use the Scope, Fire and Steady buttons.
- Splat every doughnut before the clock or your sprinkle shots run out. You get three more shots than there are doughnuts, and yellow arrows point to the ones you cannot see.
Drop and wind
Every shot flies with real gravity, air drag and wind. The marks under the scope crosshair show how far a level shot drops at 100, 200, 300, 400 and 500 m, so line the right mark up with the doughnut. The range finder under the scope shows how far away it is. From round 2 the wind blows: the arrow at the top shows its direction and speed, so aim a little into it.
What you are aiming at
- Doughnut drones hover between the buildings, and later ones patrol back and forth, so lead them.
- Doughnut balloons sway on the wind.
- The getaway van joins from round 3: one car in the real traffic turns pink. Follow its marker and aim ahead of it. If it drives off you lose nothing, but tagging it is worth a big bonus.
Scoring
Every splat scores 100 points plus one point a metre. Through the hole adds 150, a moving target 50, the getaway van 300, a hit without the scope 100 and a hit in strong wind 50. Clearing a round adds 5 points for every second left and 50 for every shot left. Clear a round without a miss for three stars. The slow-motion bullet cam follows your last doughnut of each round.
Day to night, and real places
The city gets darker each round, from bright day through dusk to a neon night. Play the endless Sprinkle City, or go on the World Tour to the real streets of London's Soho, New York's Times Square and Paris's Le Marais, built from OpenStreetMap data.
Leaderboards
Each map has its own leaderboard, keeping every player's best run. Sign in with a verified email and a player name to post. Play signed out and your best run is kept on your device for 7 days, then posted the next time you sign in.
